Elastic DCS measurements of Smith et al. (Ref. 17) compared with calculations of McEachran and Stauffer (Ref. 7) (- -), and Nahar and Wadehra (Ref. 8) ( - ) . Each theoretical "curve" consists merely of straight line segments joining discrete points. 32 DCS measurements were made at a fixed angle of 45 0 while varying the positron energy from 6 to 40 eV with our results normalized to the calculation of McEachran and Stauffer at 40 eVe It is seen that our measurements tend to be in better agreement with the calculation of Nahar and Wadehra.
